FINALLY went on a date with my babyboy today! It’s been far too long. I think we’ve been planning to hang out since summer?
Our first time at Bitter+Sweet. I got the milk + honey ice cream, and we both tried the ham + cheese croissant and the hazelnut mousse cake(?). YUM. The interior was very modern chic, unlike any cafe/dessert place I’ve ever been too. A pleasant experience altogether.
Afterward, we decided to go to Verde because he was still hungry. Bahahha! Pudding milk tea + fried squid. Mmmmm. Also talked to my big + twin for a bit! :)
I had a great time catching up today! It’s always nice being able to talk to people who are older and more on the same page as I am. It was also interesting getting a new perspective about my hopes and dreams. Good times.
I’m looking forward to the semester.
INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup nutella
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 tbsp vodkaDIRECTIONS
Beat together the nutella, sugar, heavy cream, milk and vodka until blended evenly. Churn into ice cream according to your ice cream machine’s directions, and then freeze for four hours before serving. The ice cream lasts about a week in the freezer.Makes about 2 cups.
